Friends,
I want to take a quick moment to make a shout out to Team 1 here at MQP. This is something I was given in prayer the other day and I wanted to share it with you. Team 1 is the office staff that assists, supports, and sometimes, fills in for me as pastor. When I was on vacation two weeks ago, and whenever I leave for vacay or retreat; for every meeting and appointment I have; for every hour I spend in church; with every (brilliant and not so brilliant) idea I have that I want to see executed, there’s TEAM 1 to support and assist and fill in and edit everything I do. And I want to publicly recognize and thank them, Team 1, for their work here at MQP. Team 1 is:
Sue O’Leary our Business Manager. (The best in the biz! Period!)
Patty Stevens our Office Manager. (The Queen of Multi-Tasking!)
Christy Jacks our Communications Coordinator (Capitalizing on 21st Century communications to keep us connected!)
Heather O’Keefe our PGC Coordinator & Liturgy Coordinator (A Jack and Master of all trades, too!)
Mary Pentecost our Music Director. (The best Liturgical Musician I’ve ever worked with!)
Pam Miller our Director of Faith Formation. (Juggles more balls at the same time than I can ever hope to do!)
Heather Fanning our Principal. (A real gift to our school community and to our parish! I don’t worry about too many things but if there’s one thing I don’t have to worry about it’s our education apostolate!)
Deacons Tom and Joe. (I can’t be at two liturgical places and sacraments at the same time- these Deacons are constantly saving my bacon!)
To Team 1: THANK YOU! I absolutely cannot do anything and everything I do with the Help of Grace and your work and ministry here at MQP. We are all coworkers in the vineyard and I am grateful and blessed to work side by side with you every day. If you see one of these people, give them a hug and thank them! If you had to work with me, you’d need a hug, too!
A few things to put on your radar for the coming weeks:
-Hallow App Download
-Planting Seeds for something called BEAM Kenya
-Thanksgiving Day Mass, Food and Special Collection for St. Vincent de Paul
Society
Onward, friends.
Know that you are loved dearly and prayed for daily.
